Before going freelance, I was an Ecommerce Project Manager for a blue-chip finance company. The projects were huge and the budgets even bigger but the satisfaction was limited as the ability to really influence things is small (you are a little cog in the corporate wheel).

But the benefit of those corporate years is that I bring the discipline of project management and the experience of retail sales, customer satisfaction and online research.

I love the logic of programming and the creativity of designing websites. Best of all, I remain amazed at the drive and enthusiasm people have in their own businesses and the fact that I become part of that to build a website that fits with their strategy and aims.
